GEOTHERMICA – ERA-NET Cofund has already supported fifteen high-quality transnational projects on geothermal energy in its Call1 and Call2. The total investment in the projects is close to M€90. GEOTHERMICA funds about half, and the other half comes from project partners.

Symposium on Geothermal Storage (UTES) at the World Geothermal Congress

The GEOTHERMICA Initiative and IEA Geothermal are organizing a Symposium on Geothermal Storage (Underground Thermal Energy Storage) ahead of the World Geothermal Congress in Calgary, Canada. With speakers from North America, Europe, and Asia, the event will give a comprehensive overview of the latest developments in geothermal storage (UTES) around the world.
